Old Town Farm
Old Town Farm is a hidden gem. And I do mean hidden. In plain sight.
Located in a small neighborhood west of the Old Town Plaza, Old Town Farm sits nestled among Albuquerque's multitude of cottonwood trees. It boasts a large red barn for wedding receptions, and a big beautiful lawn for your ceremony. An adjacent house is located steps away for the couple to get ready on-site, with two separate rooms and an adjoining living room and kitchen for everyone else to stay cool during the summer.
Lanny and Linda, the owners of Old Town Farm, can be seen walking the grounds during your day while the wedding coordinators are busy making sure all of your reception decor is perfect. Lanny will always greet you with a smile, a solid handshake, and good conversation.
Most of the time, you'll also see a staple of Old Town Farm roaming the grounds, their lovable dog JamesFranco (you have to call him both names, or he won't know you're calling him). He remains aloof most of the time, but if you're a dog person, he's always up for pets or snuggles.
Bonus: for avid bicyclists, Old Town Farm is widely known among that group for their awesome stand and outdoor dining area called "Bike In Coffee." Bicyclists have a leisurely ride to the grounds for coffee (among other beverages) while enjoying the sunshine and friendly conversation.
A gem of a location.
